Siena Fibre Cement Paint

Product overview

Siena Fibre Cement Paint is produced to form a protective and decorative layer on surfaces clad with fibre cement boards. Its water-based formulation provides a coating that can be applied to board surfaces, complementing the appearance of cladding panels while forming a layer against outdoor conditions.

Surface preparation

1. 1Remove dust, dirt, grease and cutting dust from the board surface.
2. 2After installation, make good screw heads, joints and seams with a suitable material and allow them to dry.
3. 3Remove any blistered or poorly adhering old paint layers.
4. 4Make sure the board has reached moisture equilibrium and is dry.
5. 5Apply a suitable Siena primer on highly absorbent surfaces.

Application method

1. 1After opening the pack, stir the product until homogeneous.
2. 2Make sure the primed surface is dry.
3. 3Apply the paint evenly, in smooth passes.
4. 4Apply the second coat after the first has dried.
5. 5Do not apply in direct strong sunlight, high wind, expected rain or risk of frost.
6. 6Use the same production batch across one facade.
