Siena Silicone Exterior Primer

Product overview

Siena Silicone Exterior Primer is manufactured to prepare the substrate before the exterior topcoat is applied. It helps even out highly absorbent and chalking surfaces and supports the adhesion of the topcoat to the substrate.

Surface preparation

1. 1Remove dust, dirt, grease and loose particles from the surface.
2. 2Strip poorly adhering layers of old paint and render.
3. 3Repair cracks and voids with a suitable repair mortar and allow to dry.
4. 4On newly rendered surfaces, wait until the render has fully set and dried.

Application method

1. 1Stir the product until homogeneous before application.
2. 2Apply the primer in an even, thin layer; do not let it pool on the surface.
3. 3Apply the topcoat once the primer has dried.
4. 4Do not apply in direct strong sunlight, high wind, expected rainfall or risk of frost.
