Siena Silicone Exterior Paint

Product overview

Siena Silicone Exterior Paint is manufactured to form a protective and decorative layer on building facades. Thanks to its silicone-based binder structure, it forms a water-repellent film on the facade surface, providing a barrier against rain and outdoor weather without restricting the breathability of the substrate.

Surface preparation

1. 1Remove dust, dirt, grease, mould release agent and loose particles from the surface.
2. 2Strip blistered, flaking or poorly adhering layers of old paint.
3. 3Repair cracks and voids with a suitable repair mortar and allow the repaired areas to dry.
4. 4If there is mould or algae growth, clean the surface and let it dry completely.
5. 5On highly absorbent or chalking surfaces, apply the appropriate Siena primer.

Application method

1. 1Stir the product until homogeneous before use.
2. 2Make sure the primed surface is dry.
3. 3Apply the paint to the surface in an even film thickness with regular passes.
4. 4Apply the second coat once the first coat has dried.
5. 5Do not apply in direct strong sunlight, high wind, expected rainfall or risk of frost.
6. 6Take care to use the same production batch across a single facade.
